Thabo Magubane is a legal technologist, researcher, and writer. He received training from Passport to Practice and currently enrolled at the Modern Law Practice certification program by the Institute for the Future of Law Practice, and he is a final-year LL. B candidate at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg. He is one of the recognised writers on legal technology and innovation in the Africa region. The African Union endorsed his latest work for development policy on court modernisation using Artificial Intelligence and 5G. Most of his work covers technology and access to justice. He is also a space technology enthusiast, as he is currently researching the use of satellite technology to unlock online opportunities in unconnected regions like Africa and Latin America.
