About the LRZ

The legal market is in a state of upheaval. Shouldn't legal media, particularly trade journals that cover the digital transformation, also evolve? For us, the answer is clear:

Within fifteen years, the leading business law journals will all be digital - and the LRZ is a pioneer in this field.

Since the end of 2017, the LRZ (operating under the name LEGAL REVOLUTIONary prior to July 2021) has been exploring the digital transformation and the legal aspects of the digital transformation of the economy. It is the first legal journal to cover all issues raised by the digital transformation of business law. LRZ is the ultimate online resource for and in the law of the digital economy, with scientifically founded and often multidisciplinary articles written for legal practitioners.

Your Advantages

The LRZ – LEGAL REVOLUTIONary journal offers significant advantages over print journals.

For Readers

The LRZ provides a better reading experience. Articles are always at your fingertips – and from every kind of device. Our tools allow for linking content and inserting GIFs directly within the text. Information can be found more quickly in the LRZ and our articles can be easily citated thanks to fixed paragraph numbers and quick access to references. The LRZ avoids the barriers of traditional print media and helps to increase the efficiency of legal work. Content is permanently and freely accessible to the entire legal and compliance world.

For Authors

Contributions in the LRZ are more widely circulated among legal professionals than those in print journals. They are listed higher in Google searches and on other search engines, and are therefore found much more frequently. This is a significant advantage because today's legal research starts online. In addition, articles published on LRZ are not restricted to subscribers only. Thus, LRZ articles are viewed more frequently – and sooner – by legal and compliance stakeholders. Accordingly, they are frequently cited in online and print media. The author therefore achieves a noticeably higher level of attention.

The LRZ does not have any submission or printing deadlines. Contributions can therefore be published on an ongoing basis – and more quickly; usually within two days after transmission of the final version.

For the Environment

The LRZ is more environmentally friendly and uses fewer natural resources than print media.

Key Themes

The LRZ deals with three main topics:

Law of the Digital Economy
